Will an irrigation well really lower my water bill? Yes, usually by a lot on a bigger yard. Irrigation is often the largest part of a summer water bill. Moving it off your city meter to a dedicated well cuts that cost, and the well pays for itself over time.
Do I still need a softener or treatment for an irrigation well? No. Lawns and plants do not need softened or treated water, so an irrigation well runs on raw water straight from the ground. That is the point, it keeps softener salt and treatment for the house only.
Can I run my existing sprinklers off a new irrigation well? Yes. We tie the new well and pump into your current sprinkler system and set the pressure so every zone runs right. If you do not have sprinklers yet, we can handle that too.
How deep is an irrigation well? It depends on your ground and how much water your zones need. Most reach the Floridan Aquifer at depths similar to a home well. We drill to the depth your yard actually requires for steady, sustained flow.
